North Dakota pharmacists, and the NDPhA, are proud to offer their patients, on average, lower cost medications than the US average. In addition to offering lower cost medications, NDPhA participates in a number of programs to help North Dakotans afford their medications.
Some of these efforts are listed below:
- Medication Therapy Management
Medication Therapy Managment (MTM) helps patients maximize their drug therapy
- Prescription Drug Repository Program
The state Prescription Drug Repository Program collects and distributes unused medications so that pharmacies and physicians can dispense them to those who need them.
- Prescription Connection
Prescription Connection is a program of the North Dakota Insurance Department that connects kids, families and people of all ages with free and discounted prescription drugs.
- Prescription Coupons and Rebates
In an effort to save patients money when situations arise where the best course of therapy is a brand name medication that may be difficult to afford, we’ve searched the internet for money-saving coupons and rebates available on prescription medication.
